You'll have to register, but Digiscrap Addicts is having a design-off called, "So You Think You Can Design". It's fun to hear how the designers get their inspiration and see the different ideas they get off of a swatch and theme. Anyway, week one's links won't be up much longer - there were 66 kits entered!!!! Even if you're not into all the ins and outs of designing, for a short time these kits are offered free before the designers yank them and put them in a store. It's a great opportunity for freebie hounds! Also, The Funky Playground just wrapped up their "Capture the Flag" contest, and you can grab freebies there too, although some designers have already been taking down the links, so you better hurry! Here's some layouts I did last night while downloading more stuff:

Word Art, Free Kit - Oola-la!

Yikes! I had an unexpected play practice to run my daughters to, so I completely messed up getting the word art to you yesterday. Here's a LO I did with the word art - the word art is what I made up for Mistybelle's quote challenge over at Stone Accents Studio Forum.

Seeing Things in B&W

Ahhh.... Another bunch of quick pages. :)

I don't say a whole lot on this blog because I have another blog for that - I just figure you come here for the freebies. ;) However, I think I'm going to start uploading some sample layouts and more word art - just kinda depends on how much time I have.

I left my pages a little plain because I thought it would be great to add some other dark colors to them... I love a splash of color against a b&w page. Here's a little sample of what I mean:
