Grandmas Wordart

I am working on some pages to scrap Mom's stay with us, and found this darling quote about Grandmas. The word art turned out cute on my page - thought maybe some of you might enjoy it. On April 14th I'll be posting some new freebie quick pages - in the meantime, keep you eyes out for more word art. I'm in the middle of a book right now, but I do take breaks. ;)

Keep on Truckin...

The last of this week's freebies - my mother is in town and I want to concentrate on her for the remainder of the week. Today's freebies are from Carolyn's Keep on Truckin kit...

Keep watching her blog at Digicyberscraps for where to pick this up - it's a darling kit!

Now for the previews:

Pretty in Pink

Day 2 of the three days of freebies for me. :)

This is a kit you can get over at Stone Accents Studio for free. What you have to do is join Piggyscraps for her Freestyle challenge - she gives you this darling bling mini kit for free - everything you see here (except the word art) is from that. It was perfect for that old photo I have of my two older girls...

And here's the preview of what you are getting today from me:

(Don't let the black space on 4shared fool you - I checked it and it works fine)

Faith Anew QP's are Finally HERE!

Yay! They are FINALLY here! Silly computer crashing on me like that! Ah well, all's well that ends well - I have buried the old laptop and moved on to a desktop with more memory, and my husband has started to see that I really DO need those nifty memory sticks. I have filled 10 GB in 5 days.... Yikes! Scrapper's hazard, I'm afraid....

So what you came for. Here is a preview of all three freebies...

Made with Carol's Faith Anew kit:

Here are some layouts I did with the QP's - I thought I'd show this time how I like to change things up - sometimes I leave room for journaling, but you don't have to fill the space at all, or you can add another picture. As a bonus quick page, I redid the green one to leave a place for a picture up at the top like this one of my 2nd daughter and her good friends (ribbons are not on quick page but are a part of her Faith Anew kit):

This one is done with a picture put at 75% opacity,
and then I put another paper from Faith Anew behind
it - the paperclip is in the kit too. Or - you can
always journal! LOL! Oh - I flipped the page too... I decided
I wanted it to look like she was thinking about what she was
before - a LITTLE girl. :)This is my daughter's baby picture put
with a picture that reminds me of her goofy teen moments...

I thought this one would make a lovely Mother's Day page
if you didn't want to do Easter...

And now, the link! Be sure to get them quick because they'll only be up a week, and then they go into Carol's store. Tomorrow I'll have some word art freebies up, and then Thursday I'll have the Keep on Truckin' pages up - so see you then!

Word Art Freebie

I'm still scrapbooking the twin's birthday. I am still amazed at all the pictures I take at birthdays. I ran across this picture and I adore this little guy's smile:

This page was made with Adventures for Boy's kit by jennyscrapplace designs. It's a freebie you can download off of her blog HERE.

I made some word art for this page. I used the font "1942 report" to come up with my own. I like the typewriter look - I think it's so pretty. :) I decided to store it as a PNG file for future use - and thought maybe some of you might like to have it too. Here's a preview:

You can download it HERE.

NEW LINK

The link below has been changed to a new zip file that does not require passwords. I apologize for the inconvenience - I wonder what happened? Ah well - it should work just fine now. Enjoy! :)

Birthday QP's

Carolyn over at Digi Cyber Scraps came up with a really cute kit for the birthday convoy - you can get her full kit HERE.

I thought the timing was perfect, since my twins just had their third birthday! Here's some layouts I did of the quick pages for ideas - please note the candle numbers are NOT on the quick pages, but they are a part of Carolyn's kit.

and I made one extra for fun:

DOWNLOAD ALL THREE HERE

Enjoy! Be sure to check back in with Carolyn tomorrow for the next set of freebies! :)
